Members of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TK detained two foreign nationals in Banovići on suspicion of engaging in counter-intelligence activities. The MUP of the TK confirmed that they are Hungarian citizens GB (1952) and JG (1962), who, according to their statement, entered Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 20, 2025. year. The Service for Affairs with Foreigners – Field Center Tuzla was informed about everything, in order to take measures and actions within its jurisdiction.
˝On October 22, 2025, the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications received a report from a citizen indicating the suspicious behavior of two unknown persons who were walking along the city street in Banovići. The police officers of the competent police administration acted upon the report and established through checks that they were Hungarian citizens GB (1952) and JG (1962), who according to their statement entered Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 20, 2025. Since these are foreign nationals, the Service for Affairs with Foreigners, Field Center Tuzla, has been informed about everything, in order to take measures and actions under their jurisdiction, the Police Administration of the MUP of TK announced.
Unofficially, GB served in the Hungarian People’s Army in the 1970s as part of professional military personnel. After that, he was transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more precisely the Department for Military Counterintelligence Service, and then to the Department for Counterintelligence Service.
