In the Elementary School “21. Mart” Matuzići, work began on the reconstruction of the extended stay building, a project that includes thermal insulation of the roof, insulation of the building, renovation of the facade and decoration of the interior rooms.
These activities will bring significant improvements in terms of functionality, safety and comfort of the school premises.
With the reconstruction, the school will get a new classroom and office for the special education teacher, which will improve the conditions for individual support for students and the quality of the educational process. Students will be provided with a more comfortable and safer stay, while the teaching staff will have better working conditions.
The value of the reconstruction amounts to 40,000 KM.
In addition, the adaptation and conversion of the existing space into a boiler room is planned, in the value of 33,000 KMwhich will further improve the heating system and energy efficiency of the school.
The project is financed Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton through the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports ZDK.
Additionally, Municipality of Doboj Jug she donated 5,000 KM for thermal insulation of the roof of the central school building.
