In the season in which he was a semi-finalist at all four Grand Slam tournaments and reached his 100th career title in Geneva, the most successful tennis player of all time reached the ATP Finals for the 18th time in his career, equaling the record of the Swiss Roger Federer, the ATP Tour announced on Saturday on its official online portal (atptour.com).
Djokovic first appeared in the final tournament of the eight best players of the season in 2007, and since then he failed to qualify only once, in 2017, when an injury prevented him from doing so. The Serbian tennis player holds the record with seven titles at the ATP Finals, and won two of the four editions of this tournament that were held in Turin.
This year’s edition of the ATP Finals is scheduled from November 9 to 16.
