The young swimmer of the Aquafit Swimming Club from Sarajevo, Esma Dizić, is a multiple champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in several categories.

The 11-year-old swimmer, who is already predicted by many to have a brilliant swimming career, proudly points out in her statement to Fena that she has broken 15 state records, which were set by recognized BH. female swimmers, like Lana Pudar or Iman Avdić.

– At the competition in Bratislava, I broke the state record of Lana Pudar in the 50-meter breaststroke, while in Banja Luka I broke the record of Iman Avdić in the 1,500-meter race – she said.

Dizić set eight records in the large swimming pool, twice in the 50 and 1500 m crawl style, then in the 100 and 200 m crawl, 100 m breaststroke and 50 m dolphin. In the small pool, she set seven records in the 50, 100, 200 and 1,500 crawl, 50 breaststroke, 50 breaststroke and 200 medley events. All the records were almost ten years old, and among them were the records of Lana Pudar and Iman Avdić, who are considered the two best swimmers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She notes that her favorite discipline is the 50-meter dolphin, while her favorite is the first medal she won at the BiH national championship. He notes that achieving great success in any swimming competition requires a lot of sacrifice.

– Sometimes it’s hard for me, especially after intensive training, after school, but I try to do everything on time and fulfill my obligations. I hang out with my friends rarely, on days when I don’t have training and I often have to give up socializing or birthdays, but I don’t find it difficult because I’m aware that it’s part of my sports journey – explained Dizić.

The results of young BH champions are even more impressive when we take into account the fact that she has just moved from the category of “junior cadets” to the category of “cadets”, in which she will perform for the next two years, which gives her a lot of time for new successes.

Dizić is getting ready for the domestic swimming meet “Vučko” at the Otok Olympic pool, where he will try to improve his results, win new medals and possibly beat new BiH athletes. records.
