Beganovic started firm from the start and already taken the lead in the first bend. The chaos on the trail caused Rafaela Villagómeza and Josep Maríe Martís – Villagómez remained facing in the opposite direction, and Martí had to give up. Shortly afterwards, Oliver Goethe hit the wall, which led to a security car out.

The race continued in the fourth round, and Beganović kept his forefront in front of Juan Pablo Montoye. Leonardo Fornaroli and Gabriel Münì led her mutual duels, while the CRAWFORD was a strongest maneuver overtook fornaroli.
The additional drama brought a debutant of Stenshorne, who had to park the car next to the track because of the failure, so the security car was reconnected. At that moment, it started to fall and light rain.
Neither after the Second Restarte Beganovic did not give up – he kept leadership, while Dunne attempted to attack Browning. Briton then broke in front of Montoye and took second place, and Beganovic in the meantime increased the advantage for more than six seconds.
Finally, Dunne had to be satisfied with a third position, Crawford finished the neighborhood, and Fornaroli, despite the touch with the wall, fueled the fifth place. Richard Verschoor did an excellent race, broke through 11. to the sixth position, while Münì finished the seventh. The last point went to Victor Martins.
For Beganovic, this was the first victory in Formula 2, which printed the pages of history.
