The Minister of Physical Planning, Transport and Environmental Protection of Zenica – Doboj Canton Adnan Shabani was organized by a meeting with representatives of the “Network of the Archus Centers” for the Green Agenda and the Environmental Association “Eco Forum”. At the meeting and Arian Hoxha, an external auditor for projects supported by the European Commission in the name of the EU Delegation, discussed the current cooperation between the relevant Ministry and the “Eco Forum”.
On that occasion, Minister Sabana and Associates presented current projects, which the Ministry and Government of Zenica – Doboj Canton realize with the aim of improving the state of environmental protection.
– We will soon have a registry of house fuel for the Canton area, in the final phase, the Public Institutions of Protected Natural Areas and Stars are created to declare their protected areas, all in order to achieve the EU. We want to improve the management of protected areas, flora and fauna in them. At the same time, we conduct activities about the establishment of waste management centers to make a quality way to manage all processes and streams within the cantons – said Minister Sabana.
Guests, among which they were the president of the “Eco Forum” prof. Samir Lemes and the Coordinator of the Network “EKO BiH” Majda Ibraković are acquainted that Zenica – Doboj Canton was first in BiH to obtain 8 million euros of the World Bank’s credit funds.
– I’m glad we were the projects that were to yesterday, the utopia managed to not just start, but also lead to realization, which certainly contributed to our communication and the ideas we advocated. Shoots are indeed made in all segments and thank the Minister and Associates. – Ibraković said.
According to Minister Adnan Sabanija, the “eco forum” is the voice of the public and the corrective factor that the Government in the Government is accompanied, and this meeting is a step towards a joint purpose – better environmental protection.
