The women’s basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated tonight in Luxembourg by the home team with 75:39, in the third round of Eurobasket 2027 qualifiers.
Luxembourg’s basketball players already had a tangible advantage after the first quarter (23:11), and ended the half with a convincing 46:23.
Luxembourg’s central line gave the Dragons big problems, Etute and Madjo scored a combined 22 points.
The home team continued to dominate in the rest of the match and in the end registered a triumph with a score of 75:39.
Captain Magaly Meynadier led the winning team with 18 points, while Kamiah Smalls (17) was the most effective in the ranks of BiH.
Our national team will play the next qualifying matches for the European Championship in March next year.
