The price of plastering depends on whether you buy your own material or leave everything to the master, as well as on the condition of the walls themselves.
Standard plastering from 3 to 6 KM per square meter
The painters we talked to say that standard whitewash costs from 3 to 6 KM per square meter. Painting in two layers with included material and protection of space, doors and furniture is charged from 5 to 8 KM per square meter.
When we asked them how much it costs to paint a space of about 50 square meters, they said that it is at least 600 marks. If the walls require smoothing, the price jumps drastically because this work is charged around 20 KM per square meter.
“I called several masters in Banja Luka and asked about the prices. For a 45-square-meter apartment, they asked for between 550 and 600 marks for whitewashing with their material,” he told Srpskainfo Diana K.

And it is very unlikely that you call the painter today, and he will be at your door tomorrow.
“Some already have a lot of work, so they told me to call them at the end of May and then they will tell me when they have an appointment,” explains our interlocutor.

By the way, until two or three years ago, a square of plastering with the material could be finished for 3 to 4 KM. The masters justify the increase in prices by the increase in the prices of raw materials, more expensive fuel, but also by the fact that there are fewer of them, that is, that there is no one to do this hard work.
Citizens have to either shell out a considerable sum and wait their turn, or try for themselves how to use a brush, roller and mix paint.
