A year after the death of a 35-year-old passenger on a cruise ship, his family is making serious allegations: the man allegedly consumed more than 30 alcoholic drinks before collapsing.
A dramatic incident on a ship of the Royal Caribbean fleet has again attracted the public’s attention: according to the report of the American portal TMZ, 35-year-old Michael V. died in December 2024, after, according to the lawsuit documents, he was served at least 33 alcoholic drinks. Now, about a year after the incident, his family is filing a lawsuit against the shipping company.
According to TMZ, the series of events began when V., along with his fiancee and seven-year-old son, were waiting for the availability of his cabin. While his partner was checking the status with the child, the 35-year-old remained in the bar.
There, he allegedly had dozens of drinks in a very short period of time, before walking around the ship disorientated and, according to the lawsuit, trying to break through the door.
