Croatia came from behind and took the lead for the first time in the 46th minute of the match, to keep the lead until the end of the game and celebrate a victory worthy of gold.
Šoštarić, Klarica, Mandić and Lučin led Croatia to victory with four goals each, while Raužan, Martinović and Načinović added three each, and Kuzmanović had nine saves.
With the Hungarians, Bence scored seven goals, while Ilić added five, and Pergel and Ligetvari finished the match with three goals each. Bartucz had seven and Palasics three saves.
