Basketball players Sloboda from Tuzla achieved their second consecutive victory in the new MaxBet League BiH season, defeating Leotar in Trebinje with a score of 88:65 (20:19, 19:16, 26:14, 23:16).
The home team had a minimal advantage only in the opening minutes of the match, after which Tuzla took control and confirmed the victory with a safe game until the end of the match. The third quarter was decisive, in which Marko Trbić’s team gained a double-digit advantage with a series of points, which they did not let go until the end.
Milija Miković was the most effective player in Sloboda with 24 points, followed by O’Showen Williams with 18, Sani Champara with 14 (with 10 assists) and Stefan Glavogovac with 12 points. Christopher Moore stood out for the home team with 17 points, while Lewis Savion and Stefan Mijović scored 14 and 13 points respectively.
The Tuzla players dominated in all segments of the game – they had a better shot, more assists and a stronger defense, which resulted in a convincing triumph.
Sloboda is 2-0 after two rounds, while Leotar has a 1-1 record.
