According to the latest data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a total of 111,226 fiscal devices were installed in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 31, 2026, which is 4,027 more than the year before.
During May of this year, a turnover of 6.32 billion KM was recorded through fiscal devices, while in the first five months of 2026, the total turnover reached 30.5 billion KM, which is 4.29 percent more compared to the same period last year.
Among the municipalities and cities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tešanj stands out, which in May recorded a turnover of as much as 323.7 million KM through fiscal devices. This made it one of the leading local communities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, behind the Sarajevo municipalities of Novi Grad and Ilidža and Tuzla.
Compared to May of last year, traffic in Tešnje increased by almost 79 million KM, which represents one of the largest individual growths in the Federation. In the period January-May 2026, a total turnover of 1.56 billion KM was recorded in the area of Tešnja, which is an increase of even 39.26 percent compared to the same period in 2025.
Growth was also recorded in Doboj Jug, where turnover in May amounted to 40.9 million KM, which is more than 7.3 million KM more than the year before. In the first five months of this year, the total turnover reached almost 191 million KM, with a growth of 27.45 percent.
During May, Maglaj achieved turnover of 39.9 million KM, while in the first five months of the year, 189.6 million KM turnover was recorded. On the other hand, Usora recorded a turnover of 30.7 million KM in May, and the total turnover since the beginning of the year was 161.8 million KM, which is an increase of 5.56 percent compared to the same period last year.
Data from the FBiH Tax Administration confirm that Tešanj continues to lead among local communities in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina when it comes to the volume of economic activities and fiscal turnover, while Doboj Jug, Maglaj and Usora also record a positive trend.
