CNN’s Van Jones said that his conservative activist Charlie Kirk sent him a message to Xu day before he was killed during the performance at Utah Valley University.

“I condemned you comments on CNN as unfounded. He then rejected my reaction, disputing my arguments, as I rarely go wrong. Then, in the middle of all this, Charlie Kirk answered me,” he added.
He claims that Kirk invited him to his show, writing him, “Hey, Van, I’m serious, I would like to discuss crime and race.”

“Unfortunately, before I could answer, Charlie Kirk, seemingly, although the correct motives of those words are still investigated. He never returned to his family.” Jones said.
He told him that he was not hard “immediately and unconditionally” to condemn Kirk’s murder. “The political murder is wrong, point. I was born in 1968. in the country that shook the riots and assassins. I don’t want to go back to it. None of us should,” Jones said.
“Kirk’s murder gives us all the reason to return to the negotiating table. The tide of political violence and the lives of many others, are looking for a common language, such as Kirk worked with me, the day before he died,” Jones said.
“Kirk advocated more conversations, not for more silence or censors”
“But instead, the opposite happens. People use his terrible murder to call for more violence – justifying murder or even calling the civilian to murder as an excuse for the censorship and silencing of dissidents,” he warned.
“Wait a minute. Charlie Kirk didn’t solve disagreement. When was Kirk’s response? He was advocating for more angry or censorship, not for more sharpness or poison,” he pointed out.
“Whatever Kirk and his heritage, that simple fact is commendable – and something that should rehearse and try to repeat, please don’t give up the open discussion and dialogue. And I’m not going to ask for the same request to the left.” He concluded.
