– Wang will travel to Russia for routine Sino-Russian strategic security consultations, which will be held on December 1 and 2 – ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning told reporters at a regular briefing.
She added that Wang, who was invited by Russian security chief Sergei Shoigu, will thoroughly exchange views on international and regional issues of mutual interest and strengthen communication and coordination on key issues involving the strategic security interests of both countries.
Last week, Washington surprised Kiev and Europe with a plan to end the nearly four-year war in Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that he would end the offensive against Ukraine if Kiev withdraws from territory that Moscow considers its own – otherwise his army will take it by force, reports AFP.
