The program was held from 13. to 17. May 2025. In Singapore, the United Nations were organized, and gathered 25 carefully selected participants from all over the world – exclusively civil servants in the field of Cyber security, digital policy and ICT diplomacy.
During the training, participants have passed an intense program that included:
- Development of national cyber security strategies and critical infrastructure protection,
- international legal and diplomatic processes in the field of Cyberspace under the auspices of the UN,
- Use of artificial intelligence in Cyber space,
- Incident management and crisis communication,
- Case studies and simulation attacks on critical systems.
Upon completion of the program, prof. dr. Badnjević received the UN Cyber Fellow official certificate, which further confirmed the international recognition of his work and the role of Iddee BiH in the field of digital security.
The director emphasized that the acquired knowledge was immediately placed in the service of Bosnia and Herzegovina – through the proposal to draft initial draft laws on cyber security laws, the National Cyber Security Strategy, and the legal framework of artificial intelligence, in accordance with the EU’s EU recommendations.
This success once again confirms the strategic role of the IMDEE BiH in digital transformation and the Cyber resistance of the state, and Bosnia and Herzegovina positions as an active participant in global security and technological processes.
