Carnevali was speaking to DAZN ahead of Sassuolo’s match against Roma at the Olimpico.
The first man of Sassuolo confirmed that Muharemović will certainly not leave the club during the winter transfer window.
– Muharemović will definitely not leave in January, we will keep him until the end of the seasonsaid Carnevali.
However, he did not completely close the door to a possible transfer in the future. He emphasized the club’s long-standing transfer policy, which relies on the development and sale of young players.
– We have always focused on young footballers, we have been working that way for years and we will continue on that path. If we can do something already at this stage of the market, we willhe added.
