Canada has become the first G7 country, which recognized the Palestinian State.
Prime Minister Canada Mark Carney said today: “Canada recognizes the state of Palestine”.
In a statement published on his X account, Carney says:
“Canada recognizes the state of Palestine and offers its partnership in the construction of the promise of the peaceful future and for the state of Palestine and the state of Israel.”
Australia followed Canada’s decision to recognize Palestine as a sovereign state, writes Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
He says that it is part of a common effort with Canada and Britain and will form a “international effort to solve two countries.”
