Borussia Dortmund beat Wolfsburg 2-1 away from home in the 21st round of the Bundesliga, and recorded their fifth consecutive victory in the German championship.
Julian Brandt gave Borussia the lead with a goal in the 38th minute, a Konstantinos Koulierakis he equalized for Wolfsburg with a goal in the 52nd minute. He scored the winning goal for Borussia Ser Girassi in the 87th minute. Lovro Majer played from the 64th minute for the hosts. Borussia Dortmund is second on the table with 48 points, three less and a game more than first-placed Bayern Munich, while Wolfsburg, after their third consecutive defeat in the Bundesliga, occupies 15th place with 19 points.
St. Pauli won at home in Hamburg Stuttgart 2-1, and ended the streak of six consecutive games without a triumph in the Bundesliga. Manolis Saliakas brought St. Pauli took the lead in the 35th minute, a Danel Sinani increased the lead with a penalty in the 55th minute. Stuttgart striker Jamie Levelling scored the last goal in the 90th minute. St. Pauli is in the penultimate, 17th place in the table with 17 points, while Stuttgart, who today ended a streak of seven games without defeat in the Bundesliga, is fourth with 39 points.
Freiburg won at home Werder Bremen 1-0. Jan-Niklas Beste he scored the winning goal for Freiburg in the 13th minute. A goal scored by Freiburg forward Yuito Suzuki in the 77th minute was disallowed for a foul after the video was recorded via VAR technology.
