Branislav Borenović, the Prophet in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) and a member of the Democratic Preparation Presidency (PDP) confirmed that the two men attacked him in front of the building in Banja Luka last night.
He said that the police were assigned all shots from video surveillance, and where the attackers were waiting in the car, most likely to be black “Audi A 3”, to return home. Borenović says he does not know who the attackers, that he had no threats, and expected to discover them as soon as possible, as well as the motive of the attack.
– I noticed that parked car in the street when I came, but I didn’t like anything. As you saw on the footage, I parked in the parking lot and as soon as I came out, two unknown attackers approached me and sprayed the eyes. I think that something muttered between herself, I don’t know what, everything lasted very soon – said Borenovic to journalists in Banja Luka.
On the second shot, on the other side of the building, see, as he said, how the attackers run and enter the same car from which they came out, after which they were taken away. All the time, he stated them, someone waited in the car, and the attackers did not see the face because “one had a hood, and the other is most likely subpo”.
“It took me a few minutes to get into the apartment and wash my eyes, after which I immediately called the police who really came right away.” My doctor intervention was also pointed out, I got a multitude of calls from political leaders from the government and the opposition, and from RS and from the FBiH – he added.
As he assessed, he was sick of what happened.
– I’ve been doing this job for 20 years. All the same. I really don’t know what the motive can be, “Borenovic said, answering whether he thinks the attack has to do with his political engagement.
– I repeat that I expect from the police to resolve this as soon as possible because only such a suspicion can be eliminated, “Borenovic said.
