One police officer from New York is among the four people killed in a shooting that took place on Monday afternoon in the skyscraper in the center of Manhattan.
According to Police, Shane Devon Tamura (27) arrived from Las Vegas to New York, and his motive for attack is not known for now. After the shooting, he was found dead with, leading the authorities, “self-weapons.” An additional amount of ammunition was found in his car.

Tamura parked BMW in front of the building and the M4 rifle in his hands entered the business building. As soon as he stepped into the lobby, he opened the fire on the NYPD police officer who worked on the building insurance. He also shot the woman who tried to remove behind the pillar, and then “randomly shot the lobby,” Jessica Tisch police vice president described.
After that he entered the elevator, and when the cabin fell into the lobby, he missed a woman from the elevator to pass unhurt. He climbed up on the first floor where the building administration is located and continued to shoot in the hallway before taking his life.
Among those killed is a 36-year-old police officer Didar Islam, a Bangladesh immigrant, who worked in NYPD for three years. He was the father of two children, and his wife pregnant with a third child, transmits Index.

Four dead, six wounded
The Mayor Eric Adams confirmed that a total of six people were wounded during the attack, and four lost their lives, including a police officer. “There are no words to describe this evil. Please for all affected by this horrible act”said Adams.
According to authorities, the attacker from Las Vegas, had a “documented history of mental health problems.” Investigators are still trying to determine why he traveled through several federal states – through Colorado, Nebraska, Iowu and New Jersey – to arrive in New York and why he chose this building.
The building in which the shooting occurred is a dozen firms, including NFL’s offices, Blackstone investor groups, Ruden real estate and accounting companies KPMG us.
Arms found with attackers
The FBI announced that he joined the investigation, but he stressed that no connection was found for the attackers and victims or New York for now.
Police confirmed that the attacker in the building entered the m4 rifle, while revolver and ammunter tanks were found in his vehicle. He had permission to possess weapons in Nevada.
The investigation continues, and the authorities say that it is not yet known why Tamura targeted this business building in the center of the most populous American city.
