In accordance with the announcement from the press conference, which was held on January 8 in the Government of the FBiH, the inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH carried out 267 inspections in the territory of the FBiH on Saturday in the afternoon and at night, i.e. actions that included taxpayers who perform different activities.
According to information from the Tax Administration, inspections were carried out with the aim of verifying the legality of the taxpayers’ operations, within which a check was also carried out to see if among the detected workers there are also workers who were deregistered from the unified system after the decision on the amount of the lowest salary for 2025 was made. .
Controls performed
– During the inspections carried out in the territory of the Federation of BiH, the inspectors of the Tax Administration found 540 registered workers and 84 unregistered workers. In the course of the controls, 7 facilities were discovered that were operating without authorization from the competent authority, 6 taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device installed, and 94 taxpayers who did not register turnover through a fiscal device.
Due to established irregularities: engagement of undeclared workers, work without approval, non-recording of traffic through a fiscal device and the absence of an installed fiscal device, 46 facilities were sealed and 171 misdemeanor orders were issued with fines in the amount of 355,400 KM – announced the FBiH PU.
In two cases, inspections were completed in Tuzla and Sarajevo cantons with the assistance of members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In the performed controls, it was not established that taxpayers deregistered workers from the unified system due to the entry into force of the decision on the amount of the lowest salary for 2025.
Control of legality of business
In the coming days, the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to control the legality of taxpayers’ operations and the prevention of the gray economy, with a special focus on deregistering workers from the Unified System, therefore taxpayers who have been found to have irregularities are called upon to harmonize their operations and to comply with the laws so as not to would expose them to sanctions and unnecessary costs.
The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina invites citizens to ask for a fiscal invoice for every purchased good or service.
