Joe Biden is subjected to radiation due to the treatment of the prostate cancer who was diagnosed in May, the spokesman of the former US presidents said.
“As part of the Prostate Cancer Treatment Plan, President Biden is currently in radiation therapy and receives hormone therapy,” said the spokesman.
Biden, which full of 83 years, went through the procedure known as Mohs’s surgical intervention – precise technique of removing the cancer from the skin layer by layer, with maximum healthy tissue preservation.
The former Democratic President has discovered in May that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Members of his team stated that the disease is aggressive, but also sensitive to hormones, which means that a positive response to therapy is expected.
