In their statement, Fanaticos denied Željković’s allegations, explaining that the system of group purchase of tickets has been carried out in the same way for years – with an order that is confirmed by a competent person, after which the total number of tickets is multiplied by their price.
“We asked for 600 tickets for this match, but we were refused. Why should this match be an exception compared to all the previous ones?”, say Fanaticos.
In the following, they asked a series of questions to the president of the Association.
“How did Željković arrive at the figure of 868 tickets in the first place and according to what criteria? Did they check the names of the buyers in the database? How can anyone know if the people who buy online are members of our group? If we are allegedly violating the capacity, why are other groups also refused, even though they do not use the same tribune as us – the northern one?”, state the fans.
In their announcement, the Fanaticos called the president of the NSBiH a “worthy little sister”, alluding to his family connection with Milorad Dodik.
They also point out that every citizen has the right to buy a ticket privately – whether for themselves, friends or family – and that this has nothing to do with the group request they officially sent to the Association.
“If every ticket is numbered and tied to the customer’s first and last name, why was our request rejected? Wouldn’t it be easy to spot possible duplications on the list?” Fanaticos ask.
In the end, the fans say that instead of counting the fans, the leaders of the Association should think about resignations, reminding that the Association has already been punished on several occasions because of their work.
