The world number one tennis player Arina Sabalenka is the first finalist of this year’s Australian Open, she convincingly defeated the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina 6-2, 6-3 in the semi-finals.
For Sabalenka, this is the fourth consecutive placement in the final of the Australian Open, she celebrated in 2023 and 2024, while last year she lost in the final to Madison Keys.

Sabalenka dominated the match against Svitolina from the first to the last point, the Ukrainian had no answer to the opponent’s strong shots from the baseline, so the match was over in less than an hour and 20 minutes.
In the final, Sabalenka will play against the winner of the match between American Jessica Pegula and Kazakhstan’s Jelena Rybakina.
