The students opened the game very well and already in the opening minutes made a big run of 15:0, which completely disrupted the rhythm of the guests. They finished the first quarter with a convincing advantage, but the game dropped in the second period.
Bosnia then had serious problems in the attack and scored only eight points, which Cedevita Junior used to get back into the match and went to halftime with a minimal advantage of 39:38.
The third quarter saw even basketball. Plummer led Bosnia, while Daniels, Vranković and Buljević were the most threatening in the guest ranks.
The guests led 71:63 at the end and seemed to be closer to victory, but Bosnia came back and leveled the score at 71:71. Real drama followed, and the key moment happened in the last minute when Atić hit a three-pointer for the final 85:82.
The most effective for Bosnia were Plummer with 16 points, Atić with 15 and West with 9. Daniels and Brzoja stood out for Cedevita Junior with 16 points each, while Buljević added 12.
Bosnia is already expecting an ABA league match against Spartak in Subotica on Sunday, while the continuation of the competition in the FIBA Europe Cup Students will play on January 14 of the next year, away to Reggiana.
