The regular annual Assembly of the Association of Business Women “SHE” BiH was held on June 5 in the Hotel Vila Ukus in Tešnje, bringing together members of the Association, representatives of institutions, partner organizations and the business community from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The program began with introductory speeches by the representatives of the institutions and the leadership of the Association, who emphasized the importance of mutual networking, support for female entrepreneurship and strengthening the role of women in the social and economic development of the country. The members of the Management Board of the Association were also introduced to those present, who will continue to work on the implementation of numerous activities aimed at empowering women in the business world.
Special attention of the participants was attracted by the panel discussion entitled “Women Managers in the Industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, during which successful representatives of the public and private sectors spoke about the challenges, opportunities and experiences of women in managerial positions in the industry. Through an open conversation, the importance of continuous support for women leaders was highlighted, as well as the creation of an environment that encourages equal participation of women in all segments of the economy.
Within the framework of the Assembly, a memorandum on cooperation with partner organizations was also signed, which further strengthened the network of support for projects aimed at the development of entrepreneurship, education and economic empowerment of women.
One of the most solemn moments of the event was the announcement of the winners of the public call for co-financing of start-up projects, realized with the support of financial partners. The selected projects represent a significant contribution to the development of female entrepreneurship and the creation of new business opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The official part of the program was followed by informal socializing and networking, during which the participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new business contacts and discuss future joint initiatives.
The Association of Business Women “SHE” BiH says that in the coming period they will continue to actively work on empowering women, promoting entrepreneurship and creating new opportunities for the professional and business development of members throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
