A meeting of representatives of the Office for the Fight against Corruption (KUZIP) and the Pedagogical Institute (PZ) of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) was held in Zenica, where the Memorandum on mutual cooperation was signed in the field of fighting and prevention of corruption. The expensive experiences were exchanged and elaborated cooperation plans in the coming period.
The head of the anti-corruption office, Dževad Fejzić said that this cooperation was provided for and the action plan for the implementation of the valid anti-corruption strategy in the CCP.
– The memorandum is the result of joint work on the creation of conditions for cooperation and this is a very serious step forward of the anti-corruption office. I am convinced that this cooperation will give serious results in the field – said Fejzić.
The memorandum envisages that the lectures on the topics of corruption be included in the annual plans of primary and secondary schools in this canton, as well as additional teacher education, and has already developed a plan of activities for the next period.
– The beginning is planned in December when the World Fighting Day is marked against corruption, when we will intensify our activities. I am especially looking forward to the fact that we exchanged experiences today, and I expect other institutions to help each other reduce the plague of corruption in society, the director of the pedagogical institution in Zenica.
The director of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs Besim Spahić emphasized that the prevention and fight against corruption, ie the control of corrupt actions, one of the strategic goals of this administration.
– This memorandum will help with that commitment, and through the exchange of information and cooperation we agree, we will actively work on all these phenomena with which our inspectors encounter in the field and thus be more transparent and that all these things we see adequately treat and eliminate – said Spahić.
Cooperation in the coming period also envisages the presence of representatives of the Anti-Corruption Office in inspection controls carried out by KUZIP inspectors.
