The children’s play “Aries and Luka” will be performed on Wednesday, November 19 at 7 p.m. in the Croatian Home of Herceg Stjepan Kosač in Mostar.
The play tells the story of to the boy Luka who, although the smallest in his village, dreams of becoming a soccer player. When him because of the height they refuse from the soccer field, his friend Aries, a good-natured but clumsy helper, helps him learn through persistence, courage and practice what it means to follow his dreams.
A special part of the show is football Aries and Luke trainingin which Ovan becomes Luka’s mentor and conveys to him the tricks and moves of legendary footballers such as Zvonimir Boban, Roberto Prosinecki and Zinedine Zidane.
The play is full of charming and funny scenes, from Aries’ first interaction with the headphones to his unusual style of playing football. The story, apparently, is inspired by Modrić’s path to success.
With a simple but imaginative scenography and witty dialogues, the play encourages children to play sportshealthy habits and faith in one’s own abilities.
It is intended for children aged 5 to 10, their parents, schools and sports clubs.
