Applications for going to the Hajj in 2027 will begin on Monday, July 13, at 8:00 a.m., when a link for electronic submission of applications will be activated on the website of the Office for Hajj and Umrah of the Rijaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Office for Hajj and Umrah announced.
The application process will last until July 24 at 4:00 p.m., and will take place through the HAF application, through which candidates will fill out the application form, the Saudi visa form, and electronically sign the travel contract. Confirmation of successful application will be delivered to the e-mail address provided by the applicant during registration.
As stated, the organization of the Hajj from Bosnia and Herzegovina is exclusively carried out by the Rijaset of the Islamic Community through the Office for Hajj and Umrah, in accordance with the current regulations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The expected departure of the Hajj is planned between May 7 and 12, 2027, while the return is scheduled for May 26 to 31.
The application requires, among other things, a valid passport, a certificate of vaccination against meningococcal meningitis and a medical certificate of health. Saudi authorities apply health restrictions for people with certain serious illnesses this year, while people under the age of 15 will not be allowed to perform Hajj.
The Office for Hajj and Umrah reminds that priority will be given to members and members of the Islamic community who are going to Hajj for the first time, as well as people who registered the previous year, but were unable to travel due to a limited quota.
After the completion of the first phase of applications, the necessary documentation will be received and the final passenger lists determined, while information on the price of travel and payment deadlines will be published later.
