Amorim: I don’t really care about Christmas

Manchester United is currently the 13th team in the Premier League. United has six wins, four draws and seven losses and 22 points won after 17 rounds played.

Even new coach Ruben Amorim (39), who arrived from Lisbon’s Sporting on November 11, is unable to improve United’s game.

In nine games, the Portuguese coach has four wins, a draw and four losses, with a goal difference of 17:17. United urgently needs victories, and they will have the opportunity in two days when visiting Wolves. Amorim is not really into the festive atmosphere: “The only thing I want is to win.

I don’t care about Christmas. I’m only focused on the fact that we have to win the next game. That’s the only thing I care about. This is great for fans. We are privileged. We can play on Boxing Day to bring some happiness to the fans and we really want to get another win.”

Let us remind you that last round United lost at home to Bournemouth in the 17th round of the Premier League. Visiting stopper Dean Huijsen opened a great afternoon for Bournemouth with a goal in the 29th minute. Justin Kluivert scored the second goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 61st minute, and Antoine Semenyo sealed the victory with a goal just two minutes later, in the 63rd minute.

Ruben Amorim’s side have three defeats in their last four games in the Premier League. That one successful game was a win against Manchester City, who are also in a huge crisis.
