Bosnia-Herzegovina basketball player Amar Alibegović had his first training session with Granada on Thursday, but no information has yet arrived that he can play for the new club.
As Granada coach Raul Diaz said at the press conference yesterday, he trained with the team, but the certificate for the international transfer from Trapani is still awaited.
– Until we resolve this situation, he will not be able to play for us, but he has been training since yesterday, said Ramon Diaz at the press conference yesterday.
Alibegović’s departure is the subject of a dispute with Trapani, and the case ended at FIBA, and it concerns the unpaid salaries of our basketball player.
For now, there is no information whether they managed to register Alibegović in Granada for tonight’s match against Murcia. If they are not, he will have to wait for the match against Tenerife on December 30.
