Today, a working meeting with representatives of the Zenica Employers’ Association was held in the premises of the Ministry of Health of the Zenica-Doboj Canton. The goal of the meeting was to prepare a round table on changes to the Law on Health Insurance of the Federation of BiH.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Health, dr. Aida Salčinović, acting director of the ZDK Health Insurance Institute Ahmed Kasap, president of the Zenica Employers’ Association Senaida Turkić and secretary of the Association Adela Mehinagić.
The Zenica Employers’ Association started activities on the organization of a round table within the project “Together for health – dialogue for the improvement of legal solutions”. The round table will be focused on changes to the Law on Health Insurance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are currently being prepared. In this context, the Association proposed holding a joint meeting with the Ministry of Health and the Institute of Health Insurance in order to agree on technical details.
The Ministry of Health ZDK supports the initiative of the Association and considers that the organization of the round table is an important step towards improving legal solutions and strengthening the health system.
– We are ready to participate in the joint preparation of the event and provide full support – said Minister dr. Aida Salčinović.
– ZZO ZDK is also at the disposal of the Zenica Employers’ Association. Our common goal is the adoption of quality regulations that will improve the health system and ensure better conditions for insured persons and employers – emphasized the acting director of the ZDK Health Insurance Institute Ahmed Kasap.
The ZDK Ministry of Health and the Zenica Employers’ Association expressed their willingness to continue cooperation and work together on projects of importance for citizens and the economy.
