This is the second time that Rahimić attends the Prayer Breakfast, after being part of this global event last year.
“It is a great honor that this year I have the opportunity to be part of a platform like this that brings together people from all over the world, from politics, business and social life, all with the common desire to make the world a better place through open dialogue, understanding and mutual support. It is an honor to share ideas and visions with other important leaders from all over the world,” said Rahimić.
During his stay in Washington, Rahimić had the opportunity to meet with American and international officials, as well as representatives of the business and non-governmental sector, where he spoke about positive examples of cooperation and development initiatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The prayer breakfast is an event that was first organized in 1953, and its goal is to gather numerous officials, leaders and businessmen from the USA, but also from other parts of the world.
It is organized by the US Congress and the White House, and is a meeting place for leaders from different countries, religions and political circles.
