After a shocking defeat from Albania at home, the previous selector and the Serbian representation of Serbia Dragan Stojković offered resignation and will not lead the team in the next qualification match for the World Cup.
The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) said the role of the selector would take over Zoran Mirković, who runs a young national team of Serbia (U21). He arrived in Nis on Sunday morning, where he joined and team together with his professional staff.
– After the defeat of the representation of Albania in Leskovac, Selector Dragan Stojković offered resignation of his function and will not travel with the team at the Qualifications Match against Andorra. Leading and the national team of Serbia at the next round of the World Cup, which has already joined the State Team in Nis, together with the members of the professional Staff, Aleksandrom Kirovski, Dejan Odam and Bogdan Milićević – stands in the publication of the FSS.
