A 48-year-old woman jumped from the tenth floor of an apartment building in Madrid, carrying her two three-year-old children. The woman died on the spot, while the children suffered serious injuries and are in critical condition, “El País” reports.
The residents immediately called the emergency services, so doctors and police quickly arrived on Ricardo Ortiz street in the Ciudad Lineal district, but they could not save the mother’s life.
The National Police announced that there are no elements of domestic violence and that everything points to suicide. After the initial intervention of the municipal police of Madrid and the city’s firefighters, the investigation was taken over by the state police.
