During the visit to the Grbavica stadium, the children had the opportunity to socialize with the members of the management of FK Željezničar, the coach and the players of the first team, announced the Palestinian Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Coach Nenad Starovlah handed them the training schedule, while Club President Jusuf Tanović presented the children with appropriate gifts.
This emotional meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with the presence of the ambassador of Palestine Rezeq Namoor, the ambassador of Libya Ahmed Benghali, the president of the “Bosnian-Herzegovinian Palestinian Friendship Association” Avda Hebib, the friend of the Palestinian people Mirsad Bešić and the president of the Palestinian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Majed Maarouf.
Children from Gaza, together with their companions, ambassadors and representatives of the Palestinian community, were invited to attend Saturday’s match of FK Željezničar at the Grbavica stadium, where they will be the club’s guests of honor.
With this gesture, FK Željezničar once again confirms its determination to be more than a sports team — to be a home of humanity, togetherness and support for those who need it most.
