A teenager’s life is in danger in Britain after he was shot in Sheffield. Police said a 16-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound Monday night.
In the meantime, the boy’s family is with him in the hospital, reports Sky News.
Detective Superintendent Emma Knight, the lead investigator, called it a “horrific incident”.
“I want to reassure residents that a dedicated team of officers and staff are working tirelessly to understand the circumstances that led to this attack and to find those responsible,” she added.
“We need your help – cooperate with us and submit any information you have,” she told the public.
“This is not acceptable on our streets, so we must work together to stop it.
If you see officers in the area and have information or concerns, please speak to them.”
