A night to forget BH. basketball player: Injury slowed Nurkic, Garza invisible

After missing the meeting against Brooklyn, Jusuf Nurkic reappeared on the court in the duel between the Utah Jazz and the New York Knicks, but his return did not bring anything good to the team from Salt Lake City.

The rib injury that caused him to take a break obviously slowed him down, so he played one of the more modest games of the season in a high-profile 142:112 loss.

Nurkić got 19 minutes, and during that time he scored only four points and recorded six rebounds.

New York was led to a convincing victory by the great Jalen Brunson with 33 points, while Miles McBride added 22. The best for Utah were Keyonte George and Lauri Markkanen, both with 18 points, with Markkanen close to a double-double with nine rebounds.

Karl Anthony Towns also stood out in the Knicks jersey, finishing the match with 18 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

Luka Garza also got minutes for the Boston Celtics in the big derby against the Los Angeles Lakers.

He spent only two minutes on the court, registered one assist, and did not even try to shoot, so the match ended without points or rebounds.

Boston still celebrated convincingly (126:105). Jaylen Brown was the first name of the game with 30 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, while for the Lakers only Austin Reaves shone with 36 points and eight assists.
