The Association for Protection of Animals “Nera” referred to a disturbing application on the brutal case of abuse and killing a dog, which, according to their information, occurred near the village Biograd near Nevesinje.
As they listed, 23. May 2025. years received the alert that Yugo car drivers dragged the dog bound for the vehicle at the local road to Bukovik, near the turn for the village of Biograd. The dog, described as a cross-brown crossbreed color, succumbed to injuries, and his lifeless body was left next to the road. According to the alert, there is a well-found suspicion that the death occurred due to the evasion, transmits exemption.
The Gacko Police Station was immediately informed about this crime, which returned the application to colleagues from the Nevesinje Police Station. The President of the Association “Nera”, Dalibor Topalović, in contact with official persons from both police stations, thanked, on, as he states, a correct relationship and professionalism.
– We sincerely hope that the perpetrator of this monstrous act will be identified and processed in accordance with the law, allegations from the Association “NERA”, transmits Report.
This case provoked strong reactions on social networks, where citizens express shock, indignation and invite the competent institutions to stop silence and finally begin effectively act against abuse of animals that, as they go unpunished.
