Borca football players won in the 18th round of WWin League BiH, defeating Posušje with a score of 3:1. This is the fourth consecutive victory for coach Vinko Marinović’s team.
In the opening minutes, Borac took the lead, after a misunderstanding by the visiting defense, when Katic accidentally hit his own net. Posusje soon responded with a better game, and in the 15th minute Domančić evened the score.
In the 33rd minute, the home team took the lead again. Hiroš threw in from the corner, and Ogrinec with a precise shot checked the goalkeeper Posušje for 2:1. Five minutes later, Posušje had another opportunity to equalize, but Berbić prevented Mulat’s goal at the last moment.
In the second half, Borac decided the match. In the 59th minute, Hiroš assisted Juričić, who routinely scores the third goal for the home team and thus continues his impressive goal-scoring streak – now 13 goals in the season.
Until the end of the game, the score did not change and Borac maintained a safe victory of 3:1. With 40 points, Borac has three more points than second-placed Zrinjski. Posusje is still next to last with only 14 points.
In the next round, Borac welcomes Rudar from Prijedor, while Posušje visits Široki Brijeg in Pecara.
