From the beginning of this year, 136 students from abroad returned to schools in Tuzla Canton. These are those from 19 countries, and they are mostly from Germany.
Education and Science Minister TK Ahmed Omerović said that 82 students returned to the most populous Canton in the Federation of BiH, and now that number is much higher.
“This news is not just a joyful, but a strong message of encouragement to everyone who wants to build their lives and the future in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Omerović said.
After that, he also publicly addressed the students to returnees.
“Although some of you may not have been born in this country, she is your only homeland. Your teachers have heard you warmly, and you and your parents are available to you, or the government of Tuzla Canton,” Omerović said.
He said 116 students returned to primary schools, and in the middle of them.
“Looking at the local communities, the largest number of returnees is enrolled in Tuzla (46), Živinica (22), Gračac (14), Čelić (4), theočaka and Banovići. Students returned from a total of 19 countries,” he added.
They arrived at Germany from Germany (44), then from Slovenia (28), the United States (11), France (7), Sweden (7), Serbia (5), Austria (4), while there are a total of 25 students from other countries. Among the mentioned 136 students, five of them are not citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes Clix.
