The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has fined 102 players from the two top leagues as part of an investigation into alleged match-fixing.
Among those sanctioned are Eren Elmali and Metehan Baltaci from Galatasaray.
Earlier this month, the TFF suspended 149 referees and assistant referees after an investigation revealed officials working in professional leagues were betting on football matches.
The investigation was expanded by the arrest of eight people, including the president of a top league club, and the suspension of 1,024 players from all leagues while the investigation is ongoing.
Matches in the second and third leagues have also been suspended for two weeks.
The Disciplinary Commission of the Turkish Football Association announced the bans, which local media claim include 25 players from the top-flight Super League and 77 players from the second division.
According to that measure, the Commission imposed playing bans of 45 days and nine months on Elmali and Baltaci. Bans ranged from 45 days to 12 months for some players.
The investigation revealed that 371 out of 571 active referees in the Turkish leagues had accounts in betting shops, and 152 of them actively bet.
One referee bet 18,227 times, and 42 referees bet on more than 1,000 football matches. Others were found to bet only once.
