Today, Zrinjski confirmed the termination of cooperation with Macedonian defender Darko Velkovski via the official website.
Velkovski joined the BH. champion arrived in the summer transfer window of 2025. In the autumn part of the season, he made only two official appearances in the jersey of the Mostar club, but the cooperation ended earlier than expected.
From Zrinjsko, they emphasized that they appreciate the professional attitude and contribution that Velkovski showed during his stay in Mostar. The club thanked him for his effort and fairness.
The announcement also states that Zrinjski wishes Velkovski good luck, health and success in the continuation of his playing career.
Darko Velkovski should have been a great reinforcement for Zrinjski, given that he is a member of the North Macedonian national team, but he obviously did not do well in Mostar.
