Kremlin published on Wednesday that he continued to accompany the statements of the US President Donald Trump in relation to the sanctions against Moscow, but that Russia acquired immunity to such measures thanks to many years of experience.
Trump stated on Tuesday that the United States would begin to impose customs duties and other measures to Russia in ten days if Moscow does not show progress towards the end of its over three years in Ukraine.
– We have long lived under a huge number of sanctions, and our economy is functioning at a huge number of restrictions – said Jumitrijpespeskov spokesperson.
– Therefore, of course, we have already developed some immunity in this regard and continue to monitor all statements coming from President Trump, from other international representatives on that issue – he said.
The Spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the threat to the new sanctions “routine” and said that the USA and the West has not yet realized that the imposition of such measures did not work and only harm the Western economies.
– We see the West simply can’t give up the question of sanctions. It seems as if they were constantly stuck in a wheelchair, “Zharova said at a press conference in Moscow, Reuters reports.
