Uber tests a new option for your US application that will allow ways to request women drivers, after the company has long struggled with the prevention of sexual assault on their platform.
Function, called “Women’s preferences”, will be launched in a pilot phase in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Detroit in the next few weeks, Uber told the blog post on Wednesday.
This is the first time that the popular drive sharing application brings this option to its services in the United States once it has launched it in 40 other countries.
Uber joined the elevator and other taxi apps, such as Herida and Just Her Rideshare, connecting women passengers with women drivers.
