Two years ago, Nermin Sulejmanović today was committed by one of the most horrific crimes in the post-war BiH. The days that followed were considered a turning point in the fight against figicides and violence against women.
Eleventh August 2023. The social networks flooded the recording of Monster Nermin Sulejmanović, who directly transmitted the brutal beating of the unbelief wife of Nizame Hećimović. Salejmanović’s sadist cruelty demonstrated in the company of a minor child. On the same day, Sulejmanović killed Jengiz and Denis Onder, and during his backhoe after the Gradačac, three people were wounded, among them a police officer.
Killed his father and son
A series of crimes he started after nine o’clock, when he came to the door of the family house of Nizamina aunt in which arrests tried to find refuge. The beating of the helpless woman continued in the cottage in Sibovac, where he killed her cold-bloodedly at the end of his pistol. He then sat down in the car and a high speed passes through Gradačac.
He shot in Denis twice in the car, and then found his father of the Đangizu onder, and shot in his house in the Haris Onder’s wife, he was hardly wounding.

– Every morning, all my awakening, I feel like I can see her somewhere, and I can’t help her – says Nizamina Aunt Zijada Vukovic-Pamukovic.

He remembers contact with the competent institutions from 4. to 11. August, when everyone was familiar with the threat and when there was time to take something. It’s hard for her, after all, no one is responsible for the tragic epilogue.
– No one can be guilty, without anyone doing anything in those days. You know how much seven days you are when you take a fight with someone and wait for you to come to the door. Well, you look at your child in the blood, to take you, and you can’t do anything. And eventually I say, “If it happened in my house, I would do different.” What am I, one woman, could I do at that moment?! If I could, I would do. What could I do when the police told me, “she was home, we are close, we will come to help. I believed these words – says Vukovic-Pamukovic.
The house where he hid
After the triple murder in Gradačac, the cell phone triple killer was sent for expertise. Investigators were interested in whom he was in contact in those days, especially in the night before the murder when someone revealed his location on which sequences. – I live in the house where everything happened, it’s not that simple. That no one is guilty of that, I can’t figure out. I’m just nobody, though I don’t know what someone did for us. Many victims have already fallen. I guess we’ll wake up from this thing. I sometimes have no words, I don’t know what to say anymore. I can’t change the world alone – says Zijada Vukovic-Pamukovic.
