As the Service for Affairs with Foreigners announced based on the notification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton, they were informed that there are two Hungarian citizens in the premises of PU Banovići, who are suspected of being engaged in illegal recording and monitoring of persons and objects in the territory of Banovići municipality.
They further state that during the course of official actions, statements were collected from the aforementioned persons on the circumstances of their stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The checks established that the mentioned persons were staying in BiH with the aim of documenting and recording the event – the meeting of two foreign persons in the territory of the municipality of Banovići.
“Given the fact that the aforementioned foreign nationals illegally carried out the aforementioned activities, the Service for Foreigners issued a measure of cancellation of visa-free stay and expulsion from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The persons left the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 23, via the Karakaj border crossing,” they stated.
They point out that the Service for Affairs with Foreigners continues to take all measures and actions with the aim of preventing illegal activities of foreign citizens and preserving security on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports N1.
We remind you that two Hungarian citizens were arrested near Tuzla on suspicion of engaging in counter-intelligence activities to the detriment of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office was also informed about everything.
“On October 22, 2025, the police department of the MUP TK received a report from a citizen indicating the suspicious behavior of two unknown persons who were walking along the city street in Banovići. The police officers of the competent police department acted on the report and determined through the checks that they were Hungarian citizens GB (1952) and JG (1962), who, according to their statement, were in Bosnia and Herzegovina entered on October 20, 2025”, it was stated earlier.
