In Munich on Saturday evening (November 29), there was a serious traffic accident in which two men from Bosnia and Herzegovina were killed, while two other people were injured. The accident happened when the Porsche literally cut the Renault in half during a strong collision.
The accident, according to the police, happened on Saturday (November 29) around 8:05 p.m. on Schleißheimer Street.
As the Munich police announced, a 19-year-old young man from Munich was driving a Porsche on Schleißheimer Street in the direction of exiting the city. A 19-year-old female passenger, also from Munich, was sitting next to him. At the same time, the 27-year-old from Augsburg was driving the Renault from the opposite direction. In his vehicle were a 48-year-old passenger and a 21-year-old passenger in the back seat, both of whom live in Munich, reports rosenheim24.de.
According to the police, the 27-year-old wanted to turn left in Max-Diamand Street with the Renault. When his traffic light turned green and he started to turn, he collided with a Porsche coming from the opposite direction. The force of the impact caused the Porsche to overturn and end up on its roof.
All passengers in both vehicles, except the 19-year-old driver of the Porsche, suffered injuries. The 19-year-old female passenger from the Porsche and the 27-year-old driver of the Renault were transported injured to the hospital. The 48-year-old co-driver and the 21-year-old passenger from the Renault suffered the most serious injuries and were taken to clinics. According to the police, both of them died during the evening.
The Renault suffered total damage, while the Porsche suffered major material damage. The driver’s license of the 19-year-old Porsche driver was revoked, and both vehicles were seized for expert examination and taken away from the accident site. During the investigation, there were temporary difficulties in traffic, according to the police. The Munich traffic police launched an investigation into the exact cause of the accident.
