The regime of President Aleksandar Vučić canceled passenger trains to Novi Sad and they will not run this afternoon and on the morning of November 1, reports N1 Serbia.
As confirmed by Index’s correspondent from Serbia, it is not even possible to buy tickets online.
Serbian Railways suddenly stopped selling tickets during the day, and train drivers were informed at the stations where they found themselves that they would no longer drive – until further notice, N1 Serbia unofficially learns.
By the way, the authorities also obstructed rail transport during earlier protests due to alleged bomb threats, which, of course, were never confirmed.
The train was stopped in Inđija in Vojodina, and according to the representative of the Freedom and Justice Party, Jelena Milošević, the train was also stopped in Smederevska Palanka, where the passengers were evacuated, while the train near Resnik is also not running. Departures from Belgrade are being canceled one after the other.
