During the visit, Hrnjic visited the factory with the owner of the company by Vlatko Barbarić and the members of the Management Board, and became acquainted with the production process and the capacities of the new factory.
The Federal Minister pointed out the importance of this investment for the Orašje Economy and the entire Posavina Canton, as well as the development of agricultural production in the Federation of BiH, as this factory opens new jobs and contributes to the strengthening of domestic production.
He also stressed that such projects represent the true example of how investing in the industry can be converted into economic growth and increasing competitiveness in the market.
He praised the technology used in this factory, emphasizing that the importance of investment in the modernization of production capacities is crucial to increase product quality and better competitiveness in the domestic and international market.
– Such investments not only improve domestic production, but also represent a significant step forward in the strategic development industry in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – said Minister Hrnjić.
He emphasized that the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry has significantly supported the development of investments in building or expanding the purpose of performing the finishes and processing of dedication to encourage the development of agricultural industry and production in BiH.
Hrnjic expressed the belief that Union Foods will become an example to others in how the successful private sector can contribute to the development of the community and the state. He emphasized that the relevant ministry will continue with support for innovative and sustainable projects that provide a long-term benefit for the agricultural sector and domestic economy.
Also, he also called on other potential investors to follow the example of this company and invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which offers numerous favorable investment conditions.
The visits also joined the relevant Minister of Agriculture of the Posavsko Canton Mato Brkić and the Associate of the Development Bank of the Federation of BiH Ivo Vincetić, which expressed satisfaction with investment and emphasized the importance of these local community projects.
During the conversation with the company’s owner and management, a future expansion of production was emphasized, which should contribute to the even faster development of this sector, the Office of the FBiH Government for public relations.
